Our Specialist Blast Resistant Buildings
are designed for use by Petrochemical Companies or Chemical Processing Plants who are now using specialist steel anti-blast accommodation modules to protect on-site personnel in the event of an explosion. We understand the very real risks involved in operating a petrochemical or chemical process plant, and have developed a robust range of all-steel construction accommodation units suitable for on-site use in hazardous environments.
Our Blast Resistant Cabins or Buildings are available in many layouts and sizes built to withstand a force of up 600-millibar over pressure for 100 milliseconds – the equivalent of exerting an 80-ton force. Our standard range includes: control rooms, offices, canteens, and toilet and shower blocks. Our Blast Resistant Units are specifically designed to maximise the safety of your staff and fully comply with the stringent anti-blast regulations specified by leading global operators and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Risk is Evaluated by:
• Assessment of potential hazards on site.
• Development of a hazard assessment plan recording all hazards.
• The use of exclusion zones based on hazards and the intention to locate buildings in less hazardous locations.
• Onsite buildings specially designed and constructed for the Petrochemical Industry.
• Fully complies with design of blast resistant buildings in Petrochemical Industries as prepared by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
• All steel construction.
• Available as stand alone cabins or larger modular buildings as control rooms, offices, canteens, toilets, showers, drying rooms etc.
