Bunded Chemical Stores
Chemical Stores are constructed in the same way as our AV Range of Secure Steel Anti-Vandal units, each are designed and manufactured to a high standard and can be constructed to meet our clients individual requirements.
Manufactured under strict factory conditions and welded in accordance with BS 5135 : 1984 Process of arc welding of carbon and carbon manganese steels.
External Walls: The external walls are manufactured from either 1.6mm HR4 2 corry profiled mild steel or 1.6mm HR4 pressed flat panels with a one coat anti-corrosive high build mid gloss paint finish, to the client’s choice of colour, which achieves a class ‘0’ spread of flame.
Floors: 3mm Durbar Steel Floor welded to 75 x 40 x 3mm cold formed steel joists (BS EN 10025 : S275).
Roof: Roof constructed of corry x 3 1.6mm HR4 mild steel panels supported by 75mm 50mm x 3 roof spars with a perimeter ‘J’ section gutter of 3mm mild steel with paint finish. Ventilation all round where roof meets walls. Corner lift/locate points to roof / slotted base plates to floor. Optional jacklegs can be supplied if required.
Doors: External double doors positioned in sides or end of units fitted with 2No. 5 lever deadlocks. Optional pedestrian doors if required.
Electrical Installation: Electrics can be installed if required to our customers specifications, coldwatch heaters are used as heat control units if required.

• 300mm Steel Bund to retain any spilled liquids (standard height, can be reduced if required)
• Drain point installed into front of bund
• Ventilation - Our Chemical Stores are manufactured with venting all round at roof level

• 2no. 5 Lever Deadlocks fitted to Double Doors (keyed alike)
• Double Doors positioned in sides or ends
• Hazardous sticker attached to exterior of unit
• Painted any BS or RAL colour of choice
